OUR TOP PICNIC HOTSPOTS

Picnicking: a great excuse to explore the beautiful countryside, no matter where you are in England you won’t have to travel far to enjoy your delicious spread… and fizz! Here, we’ve listed our top five hidden gems that we’re sure you’ll love.

Little Venice – London

A little oasis of peace and tranquillity. Lined with narrowboats, water cafes, a floating art gallery and even a boat hotel, Little Venice is the perfect place to enjoy your posh panini and glass of our sparkling Brut.

Seven Sisters – East Sussex

As you know, Exton Park is a big fan of chalk! We admire the sheer beauty of the Seven Sisters Sea cliffs, a picnic paradise combining stunning sea views, meandering river valleys and chalk grassland. Let the sea breeze sweep your worries away as you tuck in!

Fell Foot Park – Lake District

Ah the Lake District, known for its glacial ribbon lakes, rugged fell mountains and stunning backdrops. Home to the perfect spot to get stuck into your hamper, the beautiful Fell Foot National Park. Whether it’s a Fizz Friday or Wine Wednesday, this idyllic park is a great spot to socialise with friends this summer.

Padley Gorge – Peak District

Think mythical forests and pixie gardens… The Padley Gorge Trail hosts tumbling waterfalls and gently flowing streams, all encompassed by the vast fairy tale-esque forest to get lost in. You’ll need plenty of sandwiches and sparkling Rosé to keep you going!

Rievaulx Abbey – North Yorkshire

A stunning piece of English history set in the North York Moors. Wander through the extensive ruins and discover the fascinating past of this scenic site. What are you waiting for? Pack your picnic and enjoy!

“The first time I tasted Exton Park I was astonished. The wine has a purity, clarity, but also an intensity of flavour and uniqueness of scent I'd never come across before.”

Oz Clarke - English Wine

“Peaches and strawberries in effervescent perfection. Hampshire’s greatest hit.”

Olly Smith - ITV Wine Critic, RB23 Rosé 2021

“Wines that are kaleidoscopically complex and exciting.”
